Prestige began in Bengaluru and still has its headquarters here, at Prestige Falcon Towers on Brunton Road. In 1986 Irfan Razack and his brothers Rezwan and Noaman Razack formally established the company, taking a family retail business founded in the 1950s into real estate development. Prestige marks 2026 as its 40th year, and it has been listed on the NSE and BSE since 2010.
Today Prestige builds far more than homes. Alongside apartments, villas, townships and plotted layouts, it develops office campuses, runs malls under the Forum brand, has a hospitality portfolio that includes the Conrad Bengaluru and the JW Marriott Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa, and provides property management and other services. It works in 13 cities, from Hyderabad, Chennai and Kochi to Mumbai and NCR.

Sales measure the value of homes and spaces booked in the year; collections measure the money actually received. Both matter to a buyer of an under-construction home, because construction is paid for over several years.

Prestige Avon sits among the Bengaluru residential projects Prestige has lined up for launch, and as a listed developer Prestige reports each upcoming project in its quarterly investor presentation. That is where Prestige Avon's scale, segment and launch plan are on record before launch.

Prestige has planned Prestige Avon's launch for FY27, the financial year from April 2026 to March 2027, and in July 2026 listed it among Bengaluru launches planned for upcoming quarters. No launch date or possession date has been announced as at 3 October 2026; the completion date Prestige registers with K-RERA will be the one to rely on.
In the same July 2026 list, Prestige Avon's Bengaluru companions among launches planned for upcoming quarters were Garden Breez @ TPC, Prestige Springwood, Prestige Battersea, Prestige Southern Star Ph II and The Falcon City Reserve. Each is a separate project with its own address and plan, and none of them has a bearing on Prestige Avon's price or programme.
Prestige notes that areas can change with design until approvals are received. For Prestige Avon, the proposed plan on the site is 260 homes in three towers with a clubhouse on about 3.40 acres; it awaits environmental clearance and K-RERA registration, so these figures can change. Prestige in North Bengaluru
Prestige Avon joins other Prestige projects on Thanisandra Main Road and further north towards the airport, which gives buyers something to look at on the ground before Avon launches.

Prestige Camden Gardens is the closest Prestige neighbour, a single tower on the same road that has sold out while under construction. Prestige Windgate, further south on Thanisandra Main Road, is a separate upcoming Prestige project in a different segment, with a later planned launch.
Further north, around Devanahalli, Prestige has registered several plotted layouts with K-RERA, among them Prestige Gardenia Estate (May 2025) and Prestige Autumn Leaves, Prestige Greenbrook and Prestige Crystal Lawns (all September 2025). Together they show a developer with an active pipeline north of the city, in apartments and in plots.
For buyers following Prestige's upcoming projects in North Bengaluru, Prestige Avon is the one at Bellahalli, on the northern stretch of Thanisandra Main Road, and its planned launch in FY27 comes ahead of Prestige Windgate's planned FY28.

What Prestige's Record Means for Prestige Avon Buyers
A developer of Prestige's size gives buyers useful assurances before launch, and three stand out:
- Public reporting. Prestige Avon's segment, scale and launch year, including the move from FY26 to FY27, are visible in Prestige's own quarterly updates, so changes are on record.
- A neighbour to inspect. Prestige Camden Gardens, about 0.5 km south on the same road, lets you see Prestige's work on this stretch while Prestige Avon is still in approvals.
- Graded and rated. The CRISIL DA1+ developer grading and the ICRA A+ (Stable) credit rating are independent reads on the company.
A strong record still does not settle the questions that belong to one project. Prestige Avon's K-RERA registration and number, the promoter company named on it, the sanctioned plan, the carpet area of each home, the price list and cost sheet, and the committed completion date all have to be read for Prestige Avon itself. As at 3 October 2026, Prestige Avon is not registered with K-RERA and no registration number has been issued.
